Fame is a collectible in SimCity Social. You can earn it by interacting with buildings in your neighbors' cities. Fame can be used to buy various buildings such as attractions, landmarks and friend and foe buildings.
The maximum amount of Fame you can have is 5,000. You can convert it into Simoleons buy purchasing a building and then demolishing it immediately. This gives you some money instead of your excess Fame going to waste. The Handbag Factory can be purchased for 600
and sold for 28,000
. This is currently the best option for converting Fame into Simoleons.
You can now also buy the Meeting Point with Fame which is a very good use for it. Numerous meeting points around a business can produce a very high bonus payout.
